Frequently Asked Questions

What will the musicians wear?

Male musicians will wear smart suits and female musicians will wear either long black or coloured dresses. We can also wear floral summer dresses or more formal evening wear - just let us know what you would prefer.

Where are the musicians based?

Our musicians are based in London but are happy to travel to your event. When we supply you with a quote for your event it will include any necessary travel payments, congestion charge and if necessary, overnight accommodation costs.

What will the musicians need?

As we play acoustic instruments, we do not require a power source, all we need is space to play and one or two (armless) chairs. We will bring our own music stands. Refreshments are welcomed and for bookings longer than 3 hours, a meal would be very much appreciated.

Would you play outside?

We can perform outside but please bear in mind the weather as we would need protection from the sun or any potential rain so if you would like us to play outside, a gazebo would be required and an alternative performance space inside in the event of bad weather.

What if we need to cancel our booking?

Should you need to cancel your booking within 30 days of the event, 50% of the fee will be payable. Should the cancellation occur within one week of the event then the full fee will be payable. A 10% deposit will secure the date of your choice on booking.

What happens if one of the musicians falls ill?

We have a large network of suitably qualified and experienced musicians that we can call upon to deputise for an indisposed musician ensuring that your event runs smoothly and without a hitch.

What if our reception is at a different venue to our ceremony?

Many couples choose to have their receptions at a different venue and this is not a problem if you would like us to perform at two different locations. The distance between venues and the travel time will be factored into your quote.

How many musicians should we book?

As well as taking your budget into account, it is also important to think about the size of the room the musicians will be performing in and how many guests will be in attendance. A duo might be sufficient for a small sized room but a trio, quartet or even quintet would be better suited to a larger room.

Will you be insured?

All our musicians are members of the Musicians' Union and this membership includes public liability insurance up to £10 million. Let us know if your venue requires proof of this insurance and we can arrange this for you.

How do I make a booking?

You can contact us through the website, via email or through our social media channels. We will happily answer any further questions you may have and can provide you with a quote for your wedding or event.
